[Description] This workshop will start from a basic introduction of playing Tsugaru Shamisen. The goal of these 2 days workshops is that you can play Jongarabushi. No musical background will be required. The instructor speaks English. Shamisen instrument, pick, and sheet music will be provided.
[Bio] Kouzan Oyama has a certified master grade license of Oyamaryu, which is the largest group of Tsugaru Shamisen in the world. He won the 1st place at the Tsugaru Shamisen World Competition two years in a row.
