Tomiya, a J-pop singer-songwriter from Aichi, Japan, has built a career spanning more than three decades, bridging the music scenes of Japan and New York. She began performing in Japan in 1987 and released two independent albums in the 1990s. In 2000, she expanded her artistic journey to the United States, performing extensively as a street musician in New York City while recording her first solo album.
Over the following 23 years, Tomiya traveled to New York more than 50 times, steadily cultivating an international presence through live performances and recordings. To date, she has released 13 albums. The best album, released in 2018 when she was 50 years old, marked a significant milestone in her career, reflecting both her longevity as an artist and her continued creative evolution.
At the age of 55, Tomiya released Tomiya Go Go! and filmed the MV of the first single from the album, overcome in New York, further demonstrating her continued artistic drive and commitment to cross-cultural music-making.

Mar Creation Recordsは、J-POPシンガーソングライターTomiyaのベストアルバム 『Tomiya Shout』 の世界配信をスタート。Spotifyなど、大手音楽視聴サービスで配信中。同作は 2018年4月10日 にCDリリースされた。
TomiyaはJ-POPシンガーソングライターとして30年以上のキャリアを持ち、日本とニューヨークを中心に活動。1987年にアーティスト活動をスタートし、1990年代には2枚のインディーズアルバムをリリース。2000年からはニューヨークでストリートパフォーマンスを行いながら、初のソロアルバムを制作した。
