J-Summit New York presents the 23rd fundraising music concert, featuring ten (10) NYC-based artists and performers, at the Bowery Electric in the East Village on Sunday, December 14. New York will send a message, Love and Peace, of John Lennon to those who are still suffering and struggling in the northern Japan where the earthquake and tsunami hit on March 11, 2011.
This event will take place in the wake of the 34th anniversary of John Lennon’s death, December 8th, 1980. Performers are a sensational jazzy-pop group, Ideal Orkestra, a phenomenal guitarist’s trio, the Rob Balducci Band, a pure soul singer, Nob, who will sing “Imagine” by John Lennon, an American J-pop singer, Nicole Oliva, an energetic rock’n roll band, Rover, a new comer, the Nihon, and three female pop singers; Megumi, Yuri Bear and Lily Saito as well as a magician, Rich Kameda.
There will be a special raffle during the event and the prizes include three pair tickets of the Off-Broadway, “Lennon: Through A Glass Oinion,” and more from the sponsors.
