Extremely quiet classrooms, corridors and club rooms etc. The very last summer holiday has ended and 2nd semester has begun. One day in the beginning of the autumn season, there were talks of cultural festival as the very last school event…
> Episode 1 “LITTLE TRIP”
It is a story about two students: Yuuki play truant on daily basis and taking depressant medication. Ayako is a class leader and in the same class as Yuuki. She appears to be a serious student at first glance. Ayako is actually a victim of DV from her parents and routinely get bullied by a particular group at the school. Listening to favorite music is the only activity providing her with mental support. Yuuki has witnessed such occurrence and approached Ayako, inviting her to the roof top and said “We can just run away”.
They have carried out a petite run away from home, looking to find unforeseeable tomorrow. What have they found each by running away from day to day school life?
>Episode 2 “DOODLE IDOL”
A former art club member, Satomi, was skillful enough to win a prize in the paining contest. This has caused a conflict with a friend, Ogino, as a result and completely stopped paining since then. Satomi has been chosen to draw a main exhibit paining for the cultural festival and consulted with a former classmate, Furuya (dropped out of the school) as Ogino observing from the distance and each of their feeling crossing out. What are the decisions made by three of them as the festival approached?
>Episode 3 “OVERTONE”
It is nearly the time for the cultural festival. Rika Hashimoto, known for good handwriting, keeps drawing doodles in the school building as if being released from something. A school teacher witnessed her writings in the corridor and Rika was forced to draw a sign post for the cultural festival. One day, Rika attended the festival committee room and came across Yu Kuroi, who appreciates the distance. Kuroi has been recording everyday sounds on daily basis by using a smart phone, which she has taken keen interest in recently.
Triggered by Rika’s behavior for no particular reasons, two of them spent a week together until Yu was due to leave for studying abroad. At the school building after school, they collected sounds at various places. The day has come to depart from each other. What was the tune which they created by repeating hide and seek?
A red balloon was flying far away when you happened to look up in the sky.
“Drawn vividly about modern Japanese, real high school girls, their cool life style, which has jumped out of Japanese ‘MANGA’ comics!”
